Jonathan Murphy has a general practice since calling to the bar in 2020. He has a particular interest in property law, public law, valuation for rating and judicial review.

Before being called to the bar, Jonathan practised as a solicitor dealing primarily with personal injury, including road traffic accidents and public liability. He appeared regularly in the sheriff courts, including the Sheriff Personal Injury Court, in a wide range of incidental and procedural matters as well as proofs.
