Arnot Manderson is delighted to note that Marie H Clark KC, Head of the Stable’s Family Law Team, has been named Lawyer of the Week by The Times newspaper for her role in a landmark children’s rights case: Marie Clark acted in a landmark children’s rights case (article behind a paywall).

The recognition follows her involvement in In the Petition of DM, a landmark case recently heard in the UK Supreme Court: In the Petition of DM No 1 – UK Supreme Court

The case has attracted wider attention because of its significance for children’s rights and family law practice in Scotland and beyond.

The case and its implications are also reported in the same edition of the paper. They will be discussed in depth at an Arnot Manderson seminar on 1 October, presented in association with the instructing solicitors in the case, Brodies LLP. Marie will be joined by Susie Mountain, with Lisa Girdwood from Brodies chairing the discussion.
