Practice Profile

Patricia is experienced in a range of areas of civil work. She has developed an extensive practice in personal injury and clinical negligence cases, including claims of the utmost severity and complexity. She has experience in advising on and litigating in contract, insolvency, property and insurance disputes.

Patricia also has an interest in professional disciplinary work, and regularly represents the Nursing and Midwifery Council in their Fitness to Practice Hearings.

In criminal law, Patricia has experience prosecuting as an Ad Hoc Advocate Depute including in attempted murders, drug offences and proceeds of crime confiscation proceedings. She has experience as junior counsel defending VAT fraud prosecutions.
