Dawn Teitsma – In Memoriam

Dawn Teitsma

In Memoriam

It is with great sadness that the Stable announces the passing of our friend and colleague Dawn Teitsma.

Dawn fought a brave battle with illness over the last 2 years and it is with deep regret that we must report that she passed away on Friday 1st August.  We offer our sincere condolences to her family, who supported Dawn every step of the way.

Dawn joined Faculty in 2002 as a Deputy Clerk with the Manderson Stable, under the expert guidance of Liz Manderson.  This was a position she continued to hold when the Stable merged to form Arnot Manderson Advocates.  Dawn’s professionalism and easy manner were key to the success of the newly formed Stable.

A large number of Advocates, including past and present members of the Stable have benefitted greatly from Dawn’s support and guidance over more than 20 years of loyal service.  The same can be said of her colleagues whom she was always happy to help, often going the extra mile to do so.  Her vast experience will also be missed by many members of the solicitor branch who regularly benefitted from her in depth knowledge and complete understanding of her brief.

Dawn’s loss will be keenly felt by her colleagues in the stable for whom she set an incredibly high standard.  Above all we will miss her generosity of spirit and her kind and thoughtful approach to all who were lucky enough to encounter her.

As per the family’s wishes the funeral service will be a private ceremony.
