AMPIL host successful inaugural PI Conference

We are delighted to announce the success of the inaugural Arnot Manderson Personal Injury Law (AMPIL) conference. Held on 20 September in the Faculty of Advocate’s Mackenzie Building, around 60 attendees listened to talks on Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).

We are very grateful to our keynote speaker, Dr Laura McWhirter, Consultant Neuropsychiatrist and Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, for her dynamic presentation covering the clinical aspects of FND, which included videos of the clinical presentation of FND.

Attendees also heard legal perspectives on FND from two of Arnot Manderson’s personal injury specialists. Thomas Mulhall delivered a talk on preparing an FND case and the steps that should be taken pre-litigation. Jonathan Brodie KC drew from his personal experiences to provide his perspectives on conducting an FND litigation.

You can now view these talks on the Arnot Manderson YouTube channel.
