Success for stable in Chambers 2022 rankings

Arnot Manderson Advocates is delighted to report the impressive achievement of thirty-two individual Rankings (including ten in Band 1) across seventeen Practice Areas in the recently announced Chambers and Partners listings.  As well as the individual Rankings Arnot Manderson has achieved stable wide recognition in Tax (Band 1), Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, Family/Matrimonial and Private Client.

Andrew Young QC again leads the way with five individual rankings in the fields of Clinical Negligence, Commercial Dispute Resolution, Tax, Personal Injury and Professional Negligence.  Other seniors with multiple rankings include Jonathan Mitchell QC in Administrative & Public Law and Civil Liberties & Human Rights and Immigration and Iain Mitchell QC in Intellectual Property, Commercial Dispute Resolution and IT. Besides the aforementioned there are Nick Gardiner and Arabella Tait in Clinical Negligence & Personal Injury and David Turner in Commercial Dispute Resolution, Company and Private Client.

Neil Mackenzie QC and Laura Thomson are ranked in the Personal Injury category.

 

Colin MacAulay QC is recognised in the Clinical Negligence category under Senior Statespeople as “one of the most experienced people at the Bar and he is an impressive lawyer”.

In the Family/Matrimonial field there is Band 1 recognition for Nicola Gilchrist and Marie Clark.  Marie is also rewarded in Family: Matrimonial.  They are joined in the rankings by experienced junior Alan Inglis.

There is Band 1 recognition for David Small in Tax and David Turner in Real Estate. Duncan Hamilton QC is ranked in New Silks in Media Law.

Martin Crawford is rewarded with an Up and Coming ranking in the PI category where it was noted “He is not afraid of a fight.”  Hugh Olson was also rewarded in the Employment category where it was noted “he is an excellent senior junior and an all-rounder.”

There was also high praise for the experienced clerking team about whom it was noted “the clerking service is excellent” and “their responsiveness is outstanding, and queries are usually responded to within an hour.  In terms of accessibility, all the clerks are easily contacted by phone or email”.
