The Bloody Scotland 2020 programme is now available online. It will take place virtually this year from 17th- 20th September and it will be broadcast live on the Bloody Scotland website with advance registration needed.
THis year AMA’s Laura Thomson and Paul Harvey will again be taking part in “You The Jury”, a dramatisation of a murder trial as part of the Faculty’s support for the Bloody Scotland crime writing festival.
“You The Jury” is inspired by the 1932 trial of a man accused of murdering his lover by strangling her with a pulley cord. They have set the trial in the current day, with scientific evidence based on modern forensic techniques. The screening will then be followed by a discussion with Laura and Paul along with author Douglas Skelton, forensic pathologist Professor James Grieve, soil scientist Professor Lorna Dawson.
