AM Advocates member Nicola Gilchrist has written an article considering the criminalisation of forced marriage in Scotland, which appears in the latest edition of the Scots Law Times (16 January 2015, 2015 issue 01).  Nicola successfully appeared in Scotland’s first case in terms of forced marriage legislation.  She is now assisting Scottish Woman’s Aid and Shakti Women’s Aid in their work in this emerging area of civil and criminal law.
