Jonathan Mitchell QC joins Cloisters Chambers

Arnot Manderson member Jonathan Mitchell QC is now also a member of Cloisters Chambers in London having joined the set as an associate member.

Jonathan, will continue to be based in Scotland where he enjoys a wide civil practice.  He has appeared 14 times in the House of Lords/UK Supreme Court and acted in over 200 reported cases and thousands of unreported ones in the Court of Session, the Sheriff Court,  EAT, ET and UT.  Jonathan, is renowned for his strength in appellate matters and high-profile cases and according to Chambers and Partners 2015 “He is a class act, with a very wide range… an elegant, concise and forceful advocate…” with a “fierce intellect”.

Jonathan is one of a number of members of Arnot Manderson who are dual-qualified in Scotland and England and able to advise and act in cross-border matters.
