Arnot Manderson Advocates 5th Annual Conference

Arnot Manderson Advocates invites you to its fifth Annual Conference where this year the subject will be Public Law Rights.

The conference will be held on Monday 23rd September 2013 at the Mackenzie Building, Old Assembly Close, off High Street, Edinburgh.

Public law issues continue to be an important and developing area of practice, and they are increasingly spilling into fields previously considered to be private law. Chaired by Kenneth Campbell QC, this conference will feature speakers with considerable experience in this area and will update participants on current developments and will also explore some of these overlapping aspects of practice.

Presentations include:

Joanna Cherry QC will give an update on UK Supreme Court case law and procedure.

Ruth Charteris will discuss public interest intervention.

Andrew Stewart QC will talk about post-commencement challenges to legislation.

Kenneth Campbell QC will track the developing rules about protective expenses orders.

All participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and raise issues with the panel after both the morning and the afternoon sessions.

The cost of the conference per delegate, including lunch, is £75 including VAT. A group booking discount is available. Any firms booking three places will be entitled to a fourth place free of charge.

Attendance at the conference counts for 5 hours CPD.
