AMA Welcomes Three Newly Called Advocates

ARNOT MANDERSON WELCOMES THREE NEWLY CALLED ADVOCATES

Arnot Manderson Advocates has welcomed Wojciech Jajdelski, Scott Manson and David Massaro to the stable following their admission to the Faculty of Advocates today.

Before calling at the bar, Wojciech worked for four years as a litigation solicitor at Dundas & Wilson.  During that time, he gained significant experience in the fields of professional negligence, commercial litigation, construction, and corporate and financial services law.

Wojciech has defended and pursued numerous cases against lawyers, accountants, valuers and construction professionals, ranging considerably in complexity and value.  He advised insurers, banks, commercial clients and insured professionals.

Scott calls to the bar having practised across a broad spectrum of civil and criminal cases with the litigation teams of MacRoberts and, prior to that, bto solicitors.  He has considerable advocacy experience having appeared in court on numerous occasions in appeals, proofs, trials, fatal accident inquiries and debates.  He has also appeared in contentious hearings before licensing boards and the judicial panel of the SFA.

David is a commercial and public lawyer of considerable experience.  Prior to calling he was a member of the highly regarded litigation team at HBJ Gateley.  In this capacity, his practice principally involved managing high value and complex Court of Session actions and appearing in the Sheriff Courts across Scotland, including conducting debates and proofs.

David’s particular emphasis as a solicitor was on contractual disputes and property law.  In addition, he also has specialist expertise in insolvency and banking litigation, corporate disputes, professional negligence, product liability, intellectual property, rating cases, trust and executries, and public law.

Andrew Sutherland, Practice Manager at Arnot Manderson Advocates, said “We are delighted to welcome Wojciech, Scott and David to the Stable today, alongside Laura Thomson who called last month.  With these four new Counsel in our ranks we continue to boast an enviably strong presence at the junior end of the Bar.

They each have invaluable experience in Scotland’s highest courts and beyond and the complete range of work they undertake makes them a perfect fit for our stable.

A wide range of Solicitors and their clients stand to benefit from their availability and all four additions further enhance our reputation as the largest full service stable at the Scottish Bar.”
